Mit Ausnahme des iShares Cohen Steers Realty Majors Index (REIT) ETF, der eine Kostenquote von 0,35 Prozent führt, sind alle anderen iShares Sektor Optionen sind 0,47 oder (in den meisten Fällen) 0,48 Prozent. Das ist etwa das Doppelte der Kosten entweder der Vanguard ETFs oder Select Sector SPDRs.
Auf der internationalen und globalen Front, jedoch sind die iShares ETFs im Wettbewerb mit SPDRs: Die meisten berechnen 0,48 Prozent in Verwaltungsgebühren.
